Ah. This explains the above mis-link. However, what does Zuckerman have to do with this? It was Tori who wasn't allowed to graduate (albeit briefly). And Brandon (appearing every Thursday night on the devilishly enjoyable Tru Calling on FOX) organized the protest, after enlisting the assistance of the junior year politicos who insisted that the dress code must be added to the oh so revolutionary agenda. Brandon gave them a nice guilt trip about hitching their political trailer to the plight of "something that really matters," but he gave in anyway. Sellout.
I don't think its too much of a jump to associate a Cali school kicking out non-residents in real life with the fictional constant fear that Andrea Zuckerman lived in regarding her liminal status as a quasi West Bev citizen.
A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery; it cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.
